If you have already listened to this week's show, you'll be aware I have a couple of events coming up in January.
The first is Speak of the Devil, and it will be at Ecclectica Esoteric Books in Brisbane, on Sunday 13th of January from 11am to 12:30pm.

A casual glance at today’s popular culture suggests that the Devil has been busy of late. What are we to make of and potentially do with this?
Join author, podcaster and chaos magician, Gordon White for a presentation and discussion on the history of Old Scratch, its various forms across time, the different modes of approach found in grimoires and European folk magic, as well as the how and potentially why one might wish to do so in the current economic and political climate.
Speak of the Devil will allow a fuller exploration of some of the content that was tangental to the Grimoires course (and to a lesser extent the Saints course). But it will also allow fuller treatment of the simple ontological primacy of the Devil in popular culture at the moment -briefly discussed in last month's solo show. I hope to convey the methods of 'thinking with' and the opportunity to loop back around on popular culture as both evidence and justification for doing so. It will be unashamedly chaos. Should be fun.
